Sauerkraut cutlets are a traditional dish of Russian Vyatka cuisine. Their composition is unpretentious: sauerkraut (or pickled) cabbage, egg and semolina or cereal flakes (hercules or others). The dish can be served on its own or served as a side dish. Sauerkraut cutlets are served with sour cream, as well as with all kinds of sauces to taste.
Prepare the ingredients:
Soak the cereal in the beaten egg.
Let them soften and swell.
Chop the onion very finely.
Rinse the cabbage if it tastes sour and squeeze.
Combine cabbage with onion and cereal.
Form round or oval cutlets from the resulting mass.
And fry them in a pan with vegetable oil on both sides.
Vyatka cutlets from sauerkraut are ready!
Enjoy your meal!
