A cheese mark will remain in the pan, after a couple of seconds you need to gently pry it off with something thin and the chips are ready.
I tried to make chips in different pans, the result will depend on their surface too. On one surface, chips are obtained with a more uniform crust.
And in another pan, the structure of the chips comes out more loose.
